OpenYourHotel has officially started its activities in Amsterdam

OpenYourHotel is a new concept in hotel & concept development and is the first organisation in Europe within every hotel discipline to offer efficient and effective support in the (pre)opening of new hotel ventures. By using set standards  & procedures that have been established due to the years of experience that the organisation encompasses; the flexible hospitality professionals from OpenYourHotel are able to partially or completely provide support in every type of project. OpenYourHotel is an initiative from Ingmar Sloothaak (35). After successfully graduating from the Hotel Management School of Leeuwarden, he has fulfilled a variety of operational & commercial management positions in companies such as Dolce International, Bilderberg, Mӧvenpick Hotels & Resorts and Htel Serviced Apartments.

Sloothaak regarding the launch: “The launching of OpenYourHotel has allowed me to realize a treasured aspiration. After intensively guiding a number of national & international hotel-openings and my previous involvement as General Manager of Htel, where I was responsible for successful re-positioning & concept optimisation; it became evident to me where the needs lie and above all; the opportunities. Through our experience we have observed for example that the Management team of a hotel, who run the daily operations after the opening, benefit from a team of professionals that manifest the subsequent phase. Therefore I have been able to build up a valuable international network of independent functioning hospitality professionals that all comprise a minimum of 15 years of experience in project management and are unique in their core competencies. Furthermore they too possess their own well-preserved networks, additionally worthy for clients and the OpenYourHotel concept. My goal is to expand this knowledgeable network internationally and be a creative, innovative and quality service-provider within new hotel developments.”

Besides providing guidance in new developments within hotels nationally & internationally, OpenYourHotel is also able to support in interim management in commercial & general management, re-positioning or optimising existing hotel operations and presenting advice in creative hospitality concepts for vacant properties.
