Nieuwe kassasystemen van HP bieden flexibiliteit aan retail- en horecabranche

Amstelveen, 5 december 2012 – HP kondigt vandaag twee veelzijdige nieuwe point-of-sale (POS) systemen aan. Bij het ontwerpen van de kassasystemen had HP als doel voor ogen dat klanten sneller en effectiever worden geholpen. Winkeliers en horeca-ondernemers in Europa, het Midden-Oosten en Afrika (EMEA) kunnen dankzij de nieuwe systemen hun werk nog beter doen. In Nederland zijn de nieuwe kassasystemen van HP naar verwachting per januari verkrijgbaar.

Elegant design
De specifiek voor hospitality ontworpen HP RP7 Retail System, model 7100, combineert een ’fanless’ ontwerp met een Projective capacitive touchscreen voor optimale betrouwbaarheid. Waardoor het scherm geschikt is voor Multi-touch handelingen en dankzij het glazen scherm is het systeem minder gevoelig voor krassen en gemakkelijk schoon te houden. Het slanke en elegante design en de IP54 rating – die staat voor optimale water- en stofdichtheid – maken de unit zeer geschikt voor gebruik in de horeca- en retailbranche. Dit nieuwe POS-systeem bouwt voort op het succes van de RP7 All-in-One, die eerder dit jaar is gelanceerd in EMEA.

Compacte kracht
De HP RP3 is nieuw toegevoegd aan HP’s Retail Solutions portfolio in EMEA. Dit POS-systeem is een compact en veelzijdig retail-systeem dat verschillende mogelijkheden biedt voor diverse typen winkels. De compacte afmetingen in combinatie met een energie zuinige processor en de benodigde retail connectiviteit en betrouwbaarheid maken het de ideale unit voor retailers die de nadruk leggen op duurzaamheid en de total cost of ownership.

Innovatie voor retailbranche
Deze nieuwe POS-systemen zijn onderdeel van HP’s strategie om voortdurend de retailmarkt te ondersteunen met innovatieve producten, en zo de branchegroei in EMEA-landen verder te stimuleren. HP demonstreert de nieuwe systemen voor de detailhandel tijdens de technologievakbeurs HP Discover, in Frankfurt, Duitsland (4-6 december).

Prijzen en beschikbaarheid
Het HP RP7 Retail System, model 7100 en HP RP3 Retail System, Model 3100 zijn vanaf januari 2013 beschikbaar in Europa, het Midden-Oosten en Afrika. Beide kassasystemen worden geleverd met de standaard drie jaar garantie van HP. HP biedt diverse ‘Care pack services’ waarmee de servicecontracten desgewenst verder kunnen worden uitgebreid.
