HP presenteert ‘s werelds eerste Beats Audio geïntegreerde display en HP’s meest betaalbare touch notebook tijdens CES

HP lanceert tijdens de gadgetbeurs CES in Las Vegas haar nieuwste producten zoals HP’s betaalbare touch notebook: de HP Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook. Ook introduceert HP de eerste beeldmonitor met geïntegreerde Beats™ Audio geluidssysteem: de HP ENVY 27-inch IPS-monitor. Met de Envy 27-monitor is het mogelijk geluid van studiokwaliteit te beluisteren zoals de artiesten het voor ogen hadden.

Dun en lichte notebook
De HP Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook en de nieuwe HP Pavilion Sleekbook bieden betaalbare prestaties in een dun en licht device. De nieuwste HP Sleekbooks worden aangedreven door een AMD A-serie APU en zijn voorzien van een 15,6-inch diagonaal high-definition (HD)-display(2)). De notebooks bieden tot 750 GB aan opslagruimte voor onder andere apps, films, muziek, foto’s en documenten(3). Ook bevatten de Sleekbooks een Dolby Advanced Audio, een verwijderbare batterij en een numeriek toetsenbord voor een hogere productiviteit. Een volledige waaier van poorten waaronder HDMI, USB 3.0 en USB 2.0 zorgt voor snelle verbindingen naar mobiele apparaten en accessoires.

Exclusieve HP innovaties
De HP Sleekbooks zijn ook voorzien van exclusieve HP innovaties, waaronder de HP CoolSense die koeling niveaus aanpast aan de persoonlijke voorkeuren van een klant. Dit resulteert in een merkbaar koelere notebook. Verder helpt HP ProtectSmart voorkomen dat bestanden verloren gaan wanneer de notebook valt.

Gebruikers hebben daarnaast toegang tot HP Connected Music. Muziekliefhebbers kunnen hiermee genieten van de populairste artiesten door middel van het partnerschap tussen HP en Universal Music Group. Consumenten kunnen daarnaast toegang krijgen tot exclusieve muziekbundels – HP Music Rewards – via de HP Connected Music launcher. Dit programma zit standaard op Windows 8 consumenten computers van HP en biedt toegang tot exclusieve evenementen van HP zoals muziekbelevenissen en VIP reisjes.

Eerste standalone monitor met Beats Audio
De HP Envy 27-inch IPS-monitor met Beats Audio is een display met de “Power to Perform”. De display is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Beats by Dre™ en biedt een bijzondere audiovisuele ervaring. De luidsprekers zijn schuin omhoog ingebouwd, waardoor zij een nog beter geluid geven op de mid-range en hoge frequenties in combinatie met een rijke bas. Het glas van het 27-inch IPS–beeldscherm loopt van rand tot rand, waardoor het scherm één strak geheel is en er een ongeëvenaarde kijkervaring wordt geboden. In-Plane Switching (IPS)-technologie zorgt voor een grote kijkhoek (178 graden horizontaal en verticaal) met contrast en helderheid waarbij de integriteit beter wordt behouden dan met conventionele TN (Twisted Nematic) beeldschermen. De monitor heeft bovendien een zeer slank design (13.95mm diepte boven) en een smalle gegoten aluminium voet. Dit materiaal is niet alleen stevig en stijlvol, maar bespaart ook ruimte op het bureaublad.

Prijzen en beschikbaarheid
De HP Pavilion Sleekbook is naar verwachting in januari beschikbaar in Nederland met een adviesprijs van 499,99 euro(1). De Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook is naar verwachting beschikbaar in februari met een adviesprijs vanaf 579 euro(1).
De HP Envy 27-inch IPS-monitor is vanaf 4 februari in Nederland beschikbaar met een adviesprijs van 449 euro(1).
